The custom features of our modular Sprung Floor System make it the best choice for all genres of dance and aerobic sport activity.  Our ability to vary the density of our Foam Matrix Support panels for optimal energy absorption and to provide the most appropriate PVC performance overlays, allows us to "tune" our staging to our clients exacting needs.

Our Sprung Floor Solutions Staging System
is composed of four major components:

Foam Matrix Support

Our proprietary Foam Matrix Support panels are
constructed of custom density, closed cell, cross-linked,
polyethylene foam and are sheathed in spun-bond polyolefin.
The structural properties of our closed cell foam, give it the ability to perform like springs, providing resiliency.  Each Foam Matrix Support panel contains over 516 cubic inches of this foam, providing uniform support of the performance stage sub-floor and absorbing impact energy imparted to the surface.  The compartmentalized design of the foam matrix results in crisp and distinct hard shoe tap sounds without reverberations.  Because the Foam Matrix Support is an independent component of our stage system, the foam can be stored or transported apart from the sub-floor panels.  There are no static load issues relating to damage of
foam cell structures from compression,
resulting in a performance stage that
has uniform support and resiliency
use after use.

Sub-Floor Panels

The stable responsive feel of a Sprung Floor Solutions performance stage, is accomplished by our unique, CNC engineered, MDF Sub-Floor Panels.  Each interlocking panel is identically computer routed to ensure exacting tolerances and proper fit for whatever stage size is desired.  The underside, support-rib structure design of the Sub-Floor Panels aligns directly on top of a matching design in our Foam Matrix Support panels, resulting in a fully floating performance stage that has uniform : floor responsiveness, energy absorption, and sound attenuation regardless of where on the stage a performer is.  Each of our Sub-Floor Panels weighs only 33 pounds, making them easy to maneuver and because they are independent of their foam support, vertical stacking of entire stages is possible without worry of static load damage to the foam.
The modular design that makes a Sprung Floor Solutions performance stage easy to install and strike, also allows transportation and storage spaces to be kept to a minimum.
For example: an entire 28' by 28'  stage, including foam
and Perimeter can be transported in a space of
32 square feet and stored in a space of less
than 20 square feet... see example.

Perimeter

All Sprung Floor Solutions stages are securely
held in place by our foam supported Perimeter.
The Perimeter's computer routed design, interlocks
with the outside edges of the assembled Sub-Floor Panels, maintaining the horizontal plane of the stage and acting as a frame around it.  The Perimeter is the only element of our system that has mechanical attachment.  Sections of Perimeter are connected to each other using specific hardware, keeping it and the stage securely in place.  Since the Perimeter is fully supported by foam, the entire stage and Perimeter, float, giving a more consistent floor feel without hard - to substrate edges.
Ramp Access
  - Our staging is also accessible by A.D.A. ramping of a 1:12 ratio as an attachment to the Perimeter and is configurable around the entirety of the stage.  The additional floor length required for a stage including A.D.A. ramping is 21 inches per side.

Performance Surface Overlay

The Performance Surface Overlay (commonly referred to as "Marley") is a PVC product, categorized according to the speed or relative friction of the performance surface.  Placed on top of the sub-floor stage, it provides a continuous uniform performance surface with the proper amount of floor resistance while allowing fine movement control for dance and aerobic sport activities.  The variety of floor speed PVC product available allows for custom applications for all genres of dance and aerobic sport activities.
